An insight into the festival HopPopHop

In this broadcast, Lena takes you to the city centre of Orléans where in september 2022 the festival HopPopHop took place. Exploring different cultural centres as well as the radio station of Radio Campus Orléans, you will get an insight of several locations in the city playing a role in the music scene of Orléans. We will stroll through the festival, experience concerts and listen to artists’ opinions on what role the radio plays in the distribution of their music. Besides that, we also listen to a lecture held by Leipzig music expert Alexander Pehlemann on tape circulation in the GDR and join a roundtable discussion on exporting music in Europe.
