In cooperation with the Goethe-Institut and supported by the Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt, the free Radio CORAX offers a three-month residency for radio artists in Halle (Saale) twice a year.

The Radio Art Residency was established in 2017. During a three-month stay in Halle (Saale), radio artists, performance artists with a connection to radio, and sound artists have the opportunity to experiment with the medium of radio, to explore narrative and technical possibilities and to make their radio art audible „on air“.

Applications are open to artists from non-German-speaking countries and without residence in Germany.

Time frame of the residency: March 1 – May 31, 2019

Ausschreibung Radio Art Residency 2019

In Kooperation mit dem Goethe-Institut und unterstützt von der Kunststiftung des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt bietet Radio CORAX zweimal jährlich eine dreimonatige Residenz für Radiokünstler*innen in Halle (Saale) an.

Die Radio Art Residency wurde 2017 ins Leben gerufen. Radiokünstler*innen, Performance-Künstler*innen mit Radiobezug und Soundartists haben in Halle (Saale) die Gelegenheit, mit dem Medium Radio zu experimentieren, erzählerische und technische Möglichkeiten des Mediums auszuloten und ihre künstlerischen Arbeiten „on air“ hörbar zu machen.

Bewerben können sich Künstler*innen aus dem nicht-deutschsprachigen Ausland und ohne Wohnsitz in Deutschland.

Zeitraum der Residenz: 1. März 2019 – 31. Mai 2019
