Das mehrsprachige Radio-Projekt „Common Voices Radio“ sucht ab November 2018 Verstärkung! Gemeinsam mit Radio Corax und der Freiwilligenagentur bieten wir eine Stelle für Menschen mit Flucht- und Migrationsgeschichte im Rahmen des Bundesfreiwilligendienstes an.

The multilingual radio project „Common Voices Radio“ is looking for your support, starting from november 2018. Together with Radio Corax and the Freiwilligenagentur we offer a voluntary service for people with migration biography in the frame of the Bundesfreiwilligendienst. Common Voices Radio:

Common Voices ist eine mehrsprachige Radiosendung von Geflüchteten und MigrantInnen in Halle und Umgebung. Die etwa 15 Redaktionsmitglieder bringen Fragen, Themen und Probleme ins Radio, die für Geflüchtete wichtig sind. Gemeinsam wollen sie Radio als Brücke für ein verständnisvolleres Miteinander nutzen. Die Sendung läuft immer donnerstags, 16:10 bis 18 Uhr auf Radio Corax 95.9 FM oder im live stream unter www.radiocorax.de.

Aufgaben:

Während des Freiwilligendienstes arbeitest Du mit den grundlegenden Techniken des Radiomachens: Interviewführung, Sendeplanung, Themenfindung, Moderation, Archivierung und Online Veröffentlichung. Außerdem soll das Common Voices Projekt organisatorisch unterstützt werden. Ein weiterer Teil der Aufgabe besteht in der Unterstützung der Redaktionsmitglieder von Common Voices beim Radiomachen.

Voraussetzungen:

• – Du bist ein Mensch mit Flucht- oder Migrationsgeschichte.
  
• – Du solltest Deutsch und/oder Englisch sprechen können, und
  
• – journalistische Erfahrungen und/oder Medienkompetenzen, bestenfalls schon Radioerfahrung, mitbringen.
  
• – Die Arbeit bei Common Voices und bei Radio Corax erfordert eine große Offenheit gegenüber anderen Menschen und Sprachen und die Bereitschaft selbstständig und selbstorganisiert zu arbeiten.
• – Darüber hinaus freuen wir uns über Interesse an gesellschaftlichen Prozessen und journalistischer Arbeit.

• Der Bundesfreiwilligendienst kann ab 01. November 2018 beginnen – der genaue Zeitpunkt ist verhandelbar. Der Dienst dauert in der Regel 12 Monate und findet in Halle/Saale statt. Du erhältst für die Arbeit ein Taschengeld.

Common Voices Radio: 

Common Voices is a multilingual radio show made by refugees and migrants in Halle and surroundings. The editorial team of approximately 15 people pick up questions, issues and problems which are relevant for refugees and discuss them on air. Together they want to use the radio as a bridge in order to create a more sympathetic community. The show is broadcasted every thursday 4.10 – 6 p.m. on Radio Corax 95.9 FM or via live-stream: www.radiocorax.de.

Your tasks:

During the voluntary service you have the possibility to learn and to develope your radio experiences. You will conduct interviews, moderations, the planing of topics for the radio show, archiving and online publishing. Furthermore you support the Common Voices coordination team with organizational issues and the editorial team of Common Voices in the process of the preparation of radio shows and their broadcast.

Requirements:

• – You are a person with migration biography.
• – You should speak German and/or English.
• – You should bring journalistic interest, or even better – journalistic experiences and/or media skills in the field of radio production.
• – The work with Common Voices and Radio Corax also requires a high openness to other people and languages and the willingness to work independent and self organized.

• The voluntary service can start from the beginning of November 2018 – the exact date is negotiable. The service regularly is for 12 month and takes place in Halle/Saale.
