„Social Empowering Radio – Job Shadowing“ ist ein Austauschprojekt zwischen Epic Light (Helsinki/Finnland), Radio Stella 180 Young (L’Aquila/Italien) und Radio CORAX – drei Community Medien, denen es ein Anliegen ist, den Perspektiven und Stimmen marginalisierter junger Menschen Gehör zu verschaffen, Vorurteile abzubauen und gesellschaftliche Debatten zu diversifizieren.
Das Ziel des Projekts ist es, unser Wissen über emanzipatorische Radioarbeit mit Kindern und jungen Erwachsenen in marginalisierten Positionen zu teilen und andere zu ermutigen, im Community Medien aktiv zu werden. Im Rahmen von drei Austauschwochen werden wir uns gegenseitig in unseren Projekten besuchen und mit Hilfe der Methode des Job Shadowing – ein Verfahren, das auf dem Lernen durch die Beobachtung anderer Arbeitsmethoden basiert – unsere Arbeitsmethoden erweitern.
Die erste Austauschwoche fand im Oktober statt und gab den Besucher*innen aus Helsinki und L’Aquila unter anderem Einblicke ins Jugendradio und der inklusiven Redaktion von Radio CORAX. „Social Empowering Radio – Job Shadowing“ is an exchange project between Epic Light (Helsinki/Finland), Radio Stella 180 Young (L’Aquila/Italy) and Radio CORAX – three community media that are concerned with making the perspectives and voices of marginalized young people heard, breaking down prejudices and diversifying social debates.
The aim of the project is to share our knowledge about emancipatory radio work with kids and young adults in marginalized positions and to encourage others to become active in community media. During three exchange weeks, we will visit each other’s projects and expand our working methods using the method of job shadowing – a process based on learning by observing other working methods.
The first exchange week took place in October and gave the visitors from Helsinki and L’Aquila insights into the youth radio and the inclusive editorial office of Radio CORAX.
