IndieRE #123 | NEAR FM

In the new edition of IndieRE, hosted by Near FM, the spotlight shines on a diverse array of Irish musical talent, showcasing everything from indie-folk and post-punk to electro-pop. The shows lineup includes Winter Aid, who present their latest ventures into heartbreak-folk. Dublin’s own Pinnock Hill offers a fresh take on indie rock with their debut EP, while Belfast’s Enola Gay brings their distinctive noise-punk sound.

Lux Alma envelops listeners with her dreamy electro sounds, Sorcha Richardson delivers songs that chart her geographical and emotional journeys, while Orla Gartland dives into themes of personal growth with her quirky folk pop. CMAT, known for her blend of pop and country with a humorous twist, continues to captivate with her second album and Fontaines D.C. is set to release their next album, „ROMANCE,“ promising a deeper exploration into post-punk. The Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap rounds out the show with their politically charged lyrics and dynamic beats.
